What a surprise to see a swedish welcome!

Bombay is a very rare breed and they are just lovely. Funny, playful curious, social, clever and they just love people.

Here are a couple of pics to enjoy.

Hej Helena,

I also would like to say "welcome" to you -
just checked your site - your Bombay cats look really nice with their black hair and amber eyes!

As I have never heard about Bombay cats I will try to find out more about within your page.

Hope you will enjoy our forum, but of course, nearly everything here is in German...

Take care of your lovely kitten,
hope to see you here again!

Have a nice day =^^=

Dear securitazz,

can you explain the difference between a Bombay and a Burmese?
I mean in the character?

It seems to me, that Bombay and Burmese have almost the same character (as Bombay is a "mix" between american shorthair and Burmese...).

I love Burmese, but Bombay look also very cute! :-D

Greetings
schoki

It is correct the burmeses and bombays have similar temperament. They are both activ, social and friendly.
We have both Burmeses and Bombays and the differense I can see is that Bombays are much more acrobatic and have an amazing bodycontrol. They can jump very high and never break anything during the daily Bombayrace around the house.
My Burmeses (maybe not significant for all burmeses) are much more clumsy and I can hear every step thay take when they walk down the stairs:lol:
You can never hear a Bombay, they gliiides down soundless.
A Bombay hardly looses any hair at all but my burmeses do. Not much but some.

I adore your panthers. If I hadn't fallen in love with persians they would be my first choice. They look so majestic and wild!:!: Do they all have such big ears in comparison to their head? - this was what was most striking to me first.

Well...kittens look very funny when they are small and haven´t grown into their ears. It is like having a litter of bats!
They are very activ and "fly" around the house.

As the bombays they are they are training their jumping skills as often as they can. The first weeks after the litterbox has become to small and the world is too big I have the kittens in a kittenpen (you can have a look at "ideas" at our homepage) It is somettimes like the pen is full of black popping popcorn!
